Automated machine on a manufacturing assembly line for an electromechanical device. Multiple stations, 30 ppm.
The machine is the final machine on a manufacturing assembly line. A conveyor is used on the line to transfer the devices from one machine to the next, as well as the through the multiple stations within the machine. If a fault is found with one of the devices, it is sent down the bypass conveyor for further inspection. Otherwise, the device passes through for packaging. The machine is controlled by a PLC and all communications on the assembly line as well as between all the machine components are through an AS-i bus.
