The machine is used in the assembly of
computerized dry erase boards. It serves
multiple functions, all of which are controlled
by the operator at the corner control panel.
All controls and actuators are pneumatic,
so the machine only requires shop air to
be fully functional.

The machine operator loads assembly components
at various intervals, with some manual processes
performed throughout the machine operation.
To provide safety with this application,
dual two-hand tie downs are installed at
opposing corners of the machine requiring
two operators to engage the controls for
actuation. An additonal safety requirement
is that there are no electrical or hydraulic
components thus the need for all pneumatic
controls and actuators.
